Last week the California State Student Association, and its member campuses hosted a Statewide Bake Sale to act in response to the California Legislature’s divestment in public higher education.  Associated Students organizations hosted on campus events to educate students and raise money to support the CSU budget.  The money raised through this Statewide Day of Action will be presented by the CSSA Executive Committee to the California Legislature, with a simple message attached: “Students are not only paying for their public education, but thinking proactively about finding solutions to the budget shortfall.  Here is some money to help pay for higher education.  What are you doing?”
